I got problems and I don’t know how to solve them
It’s been two years I got nothing at all
No progress in the way of anything
I guess I’ll just give up
Have you ever held your own heart in your hands?
Well I have and it sucks it’s all red and corroded
And covered in blood it’s not worth the money
You’re better off getting a collagen brain
You’re not independent ‘cause you buy you buy your own pants
And you’re not an artist simply ‘cause you create
A dollar bill is still the same value
No matter the person, no matter the face
You wanna try and prove to me that you are worthy of salvation?
It’s an argument that’s spanned about a thousand generations
But they are dead and gone
The past is past, it’s not our fault
You go driving and see a beautiful woman
You’re at a red light at and you’re staring at her
She notices and she smirks
But your lack of commitment, it won’t ever work
I’m sick of lonely feelings, but I’m ever hardly
Taking a step in the right direction
In fact I keep moving myself
Far apart from the one thing that I truly want
You wanna try and prove to me that you are worthy of salvation?
It’s an argument that’s spanned about a thousand generations
But they are dead and gone
The past is past, it’s not our fault
