Come and stay with me in Platonia
Where nothing will ever change
And if you come here to Platonia
We could arrange you to a place
Where we won’t be more than friends
‘Cause that’s where the train to Platonia ends
Well I’ve been living here directly in the center of a
Land of wasted opportunities we call Platonia
And if you ever wish that someone loved you in the same
Way that you had loved them first everything would be okay
And I have been a resident of this old godforsaken place
So long I can’t remove the blackish circles from my whitish face
I really do not want to be here longer than I should
But here I sit on this abandoned bus stop I still wait for something good
Come and stay with me in Platonia
Where nothing will ever change
And if you come here to Platonia
We could arrange you to a place
Where we won’t be more than friends
‘Cause that’s where the train to Platonia ends
I cannot figure out the exact reason for this spot’s existence
I am running out of all my patience and persistence
I have tried to remain strong in this bad place that doesn’t work
But I still wake up with the stomach pains that drive my mind berserk
And some might say there’s beauty in the loneliness but it’s hellacious
I will never be completely satisfied without a gracious
Sign that just one person truly wants to be with me
But I’m guessing that won’t happen just as far as I can see
Come and stay with me in Platonia
Where nothing will ever change
And if you come here to Platonia
We could arrange you to a place
Where we won’t be more than friends
‘Cause that’s where the train to Platonia ends
That’s where train to Platonia ends
I’m gonna buy a one-way-ticket out of here someday
I’ll no longer have to hear what the doubts inside me say
“you’re stupid and worthless, you’ll never be perfect for any soul”
“why do you keep trying ‘cause inside you’re dying and want to explode”
“just stop intervening with another meaning and just be alone”
“we told you so, we told you so, we told” oh no oh no oh no
Come and stay with me in Platonia
Where nothing will ever change
And if you come here to Platonia
We could arrange you to a place
Where we won’t be more than friends
‘Cause that’s where the train to Platonia ends
