I think in my exploration of Joel's catalogue, this has become my absolute favorite song he's written. It's an absolute perfect pop tune; the chords are brilliant and simple, the lyrics on rhythm with the playing, the vocal melody soaring across the instrumentation. There's so much going on in this song that actually gets sidestepped by the fairly simple song structure. It's grand. Though not one of the ultimate blazers to play on guitar, I will forever love singing it.
Alec Bowman perfectly captures the dark soil under the pastoral world of British folk with this collection of melancholy originals. Bandcamp New & Notable May 12, 2020
Turbulent indie rock from Levi Fuller & the Library that has the snarl of hardcore and the knotty meter of math rock. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 13, 2018
