This is the second song from River Of Dreams that I chose (I should mention that album diversity wasn't a factor at all, though somehow this and The Stranger were the only two records I repeated songs from). The first time I heard it I thought, "Wow, he sounds like Bruce Cockburn, and I love it" (Cockburn is worth your time too, if you get the chance to listen). The song's lyrics and vocal crescendos hit me like a brick, and I spent a good few days trying to figure out the chords and master the vocal performance to the best of my abilities. By far the most difficult track to sing out of the bunch.
Alec Bowman perfectly captures the dark soil under the pastoral world of British folk with this collection of melancholy originals. Bandcamp New & Notable May 12, 2020
Turbulent indie rock from Levi Fuller & the Library that has the snarl of hardcore and the knotty meter of math rock. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 13, 2018
